As a child, dioramas were one of my favorites stops at a museum. These small recreations of hearth, home, or famous battles fueled my imagination. The excitement’s kicked up a couple of notches when murder’s added to the mix.
These disturbing dioramas were lovingly created by Francis Glessner Lee as a teaching tool for homicide detectives. Called Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death, they depict real-life murder scenes. These aren’t your grandma’s dollhouses!
