I loved Murder in Mystic Cove! I live in Ocala, just down the road from you, and I got such a kick out of recognizing “almost” names-like Page Becket (Paige Beck) and “Lady In the Hills” (Howey-In-The-Hills) and places that COULD be someplace local- The Villages, etc.
As a 2nd generation Polish American (my dad’s side), I liked the fact that you made Addie Polish.
There weren’t too many edits or spelling/punctuation corrections, either, which is cool. As a professional proofreader and editor, I automatically read with one eye out for corrections to make, but this was pretty clean. Congratulations on that.

Again, great book!
Glad you liked the book. It’s nice that a local reader picked up on my little jokes. (In fact, I got the inspiration for the novel when I was dragged to the Villages, which immediately struck me as the perfect setting for a murder.)
As a former English teacher, I appreciate the editing compliment, though a lot of the credit got to my editor at Carina. And I’ll keep your offer in mind.
By the way, I received some great news the other day: Carina Press accepted my second Addie Gorsky novel for publication, though I don’t yet have a date. In her second adventure Addie investigates a grisly murder in a fish camp.
Thanks so much for your kind words.
